August Meeting

….The Phase II addition to the Raleigh-Durham Airport Terminal 2 proved to be a most interesting and informative field trip. Whisked to the site by an airport shuttle bus, we toured the grounds of the work in progress and the new Energy Plant. After the tour (led by Mr. Robb Teer, Chairman of the Airport Authority and Mr. Dave Powell of RDU), we had a delicious buffet dinner at the charming Crosswinds Café in the General Aviation Building.

…..MegaWattSolar presenter Mr. Justin Gravatt had an enlightening presentation on his new company’s R & D into the use of solar “trees” in the Hillsboro area. Croasdaile C.C. chefs outdid
